Scientists criticize Australia’s ‘questionable’ climate policy
They say the Aus$3.5-billion package will not help the country meet its Paris emissions targets.
By Bianca Nogrady, February 28, 2019.

Why is it so hard to say things clear? Australia is a climate change action cheat, a free rider. That is the first thing that comes to mind and the most appropriate.

By Brigid Glanville. Updated 24 minutes ago today

The town of Bourke, it seems, hasn’t had significant rain in the last seven years. They no longer have any water. Menindee and Pooncarie, courtesy of the MDBA and of the NSW COALition State Government, are in the same situation. Who will win the race to extinction? Any of these towns or the Murray cod?
