Bits and Pieces: Tragical Hysteria Tour.

Let’s begin our tour in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave (where else?).

By protesting the murder of black men by cops, it seems, the #BlackLivesMatter movement (to say nothing of russophobic liberal white middleclass intellectuals) were actually playing into the hands of Putin’s evil cyber-troll army of Machiavellian election-meddlers intent on having the Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief elected even before he was a candidate. (You have to give Volodya credit for his superhuman prescience).

At least, that’s what the Yank MSM claim. Example: this, from WaPo. I mean, if it comes from Jeff Bezos -- that paradigm of progressive plutocrat -- you know you can take that note to the bank.

So, American boys and girls, in order to be patriotic you have to vote for Hillary or whoever the Democratic bigwigs deem convenient (it’ll always be the Lesser Evil, for Christ’s sake!) and lie or at least keep quiet about those matters that don’t really matter that much.

----------

A different take on that.

----------

Across the big pond to Merrie Olde England.

Emily Thornberry MP, Labour’s shadow Foreign Secretary, comments on media reports that Integrity Initiative, a Tory government-funded propaganda outfit masquerading as charity, had been engaged in political attacks against Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party.

But, to be fair, I doubt VS progressive luminaries like Jonathan Freedland, Nick Cohen, George Mondiot -- employed by “the foul prostitute and dirty parasite of the worst portion of the mill-owners” -- were also on the payroll of the Integrity Initiative.

-----------

Now to the continent.

The German government takes its commitment to phasing out coal production very seriously. That’s why, as Deutsche Welle reported a couple of days ago, “Germany's last black hard coal mine Prosper-Haniel closes”.

And with the legendary efficiency that made Germany famous, they will add to the mix recycling and support to their own workers.

A few workers will keep their jobs for a little longer -- yay! They are required to remove the equipment left inside the underground mine. The beauty of it all is that the stuff they salvage won’t go to waste. Turkey is expanding its coal production: over there that pre-loved gear will have a second lease at life. Recycling!

Germany may end up importing Turkish coal, with the added fuel consumption required to transport the coal. And, after reading Peter Dorman, I had thought that kind of thing was just a fantasy.

Green economy, baby.

----------

A last stop in our hopping tour of the world.

You have to take your hat off to Putin. The man is a regular, original comic book evil genius. Don’t believe me? Well, the latest from that devilishly devious master puppeteer: after inducing the Western liberal intelligentsia into making fools of themselves with their conspiracy theories, he now has the gall to laugh at them -- MWAHAHAHA-ski!

At least nobody had the idea -- yet -- of crediting the American midterm elections Blue Wave to Chinese electoral meddling. Oh, wait!

----------

To observe liberal democracies -- the top political achievement of capitalism -- in action is a most reassuring exercise, huh? On the plus side, at least you still can laugh. Enjoy that while you can.
